Ramou Sarr

Ramou is a writer in Los Angeles.

She created, wrote, and starred in the web series, Brunch, about two Black women pondering their neuroses over eggs and mimosas.

For four years, she co-hosted the Shorty Award-nominated podcast, Black Girls Talking.

Ramou has written several personal narrative essays, two Glamour magazine cover stories, and a short story about a neurotic paralegal with a crush.

She most recently wrote for the Netflix animated dark comedy procedural, Bad Crimes. 

Before becoming a TV writer, Ramou spent 14 years with the Federal Public Defender organization, first working as a trial paralegal and later as a resource paralegal and litigation support specialist for defense teams representing people facing the federal death penalty.
